Mibbit Client Tutorial

Mibbit is a website irc client that is written in ajax that connects you to our chat server. This client can be useful if you are behind a firewall that is restrictive and none of the installed clients work. We have been approved by mibbit and please feel free to use this client. If you experience difficulties, try a different client. You can visit mibbit by going to http://www.mibbit.com.
Please note that they also run their own irc network which is independant of ours.
1. Enter your nickname and the channel you wish to join"
2. a site called Mibbit shows up. Click connect (if you have a password, re-enter this since the mibbit client will not carry your password over from the main connection box.):
3. A channel tab should pop up. You are now in the chatroom (this case, the help room). You can type in "/join #channel" replacing channel to join an alternative channel.

4. Type to enter a message to the room. When appropriate.
