Legal Information
Channel / NickName Ownership -- Channels and NickNames on PodNet are owned and operated by the group(s)/person(s) who register them. No minimum level of activity or moderation is expected or required of channel / NickName owners. Channels and NickNames will expire 30 days of inactivity, exceptions to this rule are made at the descretion of operators in channel #help.
Channel Namming and NickName Choice --- Channels / NickNames that contain explicit language or suggest adult material are not allowed on our network. Due to the nature of our original purpose, we feel that the network should remain family friendly. Channels and NickNames that are found violating this policy will be dropped and banned at the descretion of the irc operator discovering the violation. You may request a reversal on the decision by emailing our staff at admin(at)podnet.org. Channel Topics and Descriptions also fall within this rule.
Unlawful Activity --- Any use of our network that violates any US Law, The submission of adult material, illegal advertising / file sharing, and ddos attacks will result in an immediate network-wide ban from our services without exception.
